Mountain Brook Kennels, located between Mt. Hood, in the state of Oregon, and Mt. Adams, in Washington state, USA. You will find us in the beautiful Mid-Columbia basin, known as "The Gorge", because it is so gorgeous here!
Mountain Brook Kennels grew out of a love for the Lancashire Heeler breed and wanting to share this truly wonderful dog with others. At this time there are only 72 dogs registered with 66 having a three generation pedigree registered Lancashire Heelers in the United States. We encourage you to read through our site and contact us with any comments, suggestions and inquires as to how to obtain one of these little guys or gals to add to your "family".
The breed is known to smile at you. We have several that will greet you with a grin and a wiggle:-)

Winning Time at the AKC Hillsboro Canine Experience B Match
6/19/10
June 19, 2010, history was made in Hillsboro, Oregon. The first Lancashire Heelers were shown in an AKC Sanctioned Match! These are the first of this breed to compete in North America with the intent of becoming a recognized breed with the American Kennel Club. There were four Lancashire Heelers presented, three siblings and their Grandsire.
